The Director General of Hebron Electricity, Abdul Raouf Al-Sheikh, received a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to discuss the project of providing technical support from the organizers, the transport company and the distribution companies to the electricity companies. (Engineer Amjad Zahida - Engineer Ayman Hassouna - Engineer Wajdi Sultan - Engineer Mohammed Al Tamimi).

The two sides discussed the progress of the work, and talked about the most important achievements of Hebron electricity and a summary of the problems and obstacles, and a plan to develop the electricity distribution system, operation and maintenance system in the stations, and the presentation of the basic needs of technical programs serving the company. Supporting development projects for the construction of transformer stations, and supporting the construction of intelligent systems and renewable energy projects. The two sides also discussed the challenges facing Hebron Electricity.

For his part, Eng. Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of this vital cooperation, and thanked the Japanese support provided by the Japanese side in the field of training for Hebron Electricity employees in Jordan and Egypt over the past years.
